2/3 cup honey or brown rice syrup
1/3 cup tahini (sesame seed butter)
1 ½ cup quick oats
½ cups chopped nuts
¼ teaspoon salt
Mix wet and dry ingredients separately then combine.
Shape into cookies. May use a 1 ½ Tablespoon (3/4 oz.) cookie scoop. Place on an oiled cookie sheet. Flatten slightly.
Bake at 350 for 10-13 minutes, until light golden brown and soft to the touch.
Let cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
Yield: 17 cookies.
